The O’Carolan Harp Festival, Nobber, honours the poet, composer and harper Turlough O’Carolan, who was born in 1670 in Nobber. This year we celebrate our festival from October 2nd – 4th, 2020.

As with every year, the festival features an impressive line-up of artists. 


Friday evening’s concert features the talents of  the Meath Harp Ensemble directed by Dearbhail Finnegan, followed by concert performances by the tutors, Grainne Hambly, Kim Fleming, Cormac de Barra and Dearbhail Finnegan.

Moya Brennan, Cormac de Barra, Aisling Jarvis alongside the Meath Harp Ensemble led by Dearbhail Finnegan all feature in Saturday's Concert, in what promises to be a cracking night! 

Over the weekend the festival features; harp workshops & competitions, harp exhibitions, and pub sessions as well as the aforementioned concerts.
